The Sony Ericsson X10 Smartphone Range

Sony Ericsson have an impressive top end of the market Smartphone range known as the X10 range which comprises of three rather outstanding handsets including the Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini and the Xperia X10 Mini Pro. All three handsets are highly popular with both young and more mature Smartphone's users and I can see why, as they all offer a truly stylish casing, an array of user friendly features and the latest mobile phone technologies. Here is an overview of all three handset which highlights their similarities and their design differences.

The Xperia X10 Sony Ericsson Smartphone is a touch screen form handset which measures 11.9cm by 6.3cm by 1.3cm making it the largest handset of the X10 range and the size of the casing reflects the size of the touch screen. The X10 Mini is also a touch screen form Smartphone which measures 8.3cm by 5cm by 1.6cm making it the smallest handset of the range therefore it is an easy handset to carry and hold but slightly deeper in size than the slim but larger X10. The X10 Mini Pro however supports the medium sized casing out of the three handsets, which is 9cm by 5.2cm by 1.7cm although it is still very compact and is only slightly bigger in size than the X10 Mini, due to its slide out QWERTY keyboard form.

A glamorous looking casing is desired by all mobile phone users and the X10 is available in two colours which include sensuous black or a luster white giving it a sophisticated appearance. The X10 Mini is available in six colours which include black, white, silver, pink, red and lime which may suit the more fashion conscious Smartphone user. Two colour options are available for the Mini Pro which include black, or a bright red colour casing for a racy looking handset, which means the X10 Mini has the most colour options available for the user to choose from. All three X10 range Smartphone's come with high colour and brilliantly clear touch screens but the X10 has the largest touch screen measuring 4 inches diagonally whereas the Mini and the Mini Pro have small but beautiful 2.55 inch sized touch screens.

The X10 has a powerful battery which provides approximately 10 hours of talk time when used over a GSM network and it comes with 1 gigabyte of internal memory plus a further 8 gigabytes via a memory card provided, although the memory card option can hold up to 16 gigabytes of external memory, so therefore the X10 has the most powerful battery and the largest internal memory option out of the Xperia X10 range. The Mini and the X10 Mini Pro provide the same battery performance as each other which is up to 4 hours of talk time over a GSM network and they both have 128 megabytes of internal memory, plus come with a 2 gigabyte memory card and this external memory option can hold up to a 16 gigabytes memory card. All three of the X10 Sony Ericsson range handsets come with the popular Android operating system and support 3G HSDPA, HSUPA, Bluetooth?and Wi-Fi?technologies.

The X10 has an impressive camera feature which has an 8.1 megapixel lens, touch focus control and a 16 x digital zoom, whereas the Mini and Mini Pro come with a 5 megapixel lens with a built in photo light and an automatic focus feature. All three Smartphone's support high quality video capturing, video playback and come with an integrated music player with album art displays, touch screen controlled music controls and music recognition features. Browsing the Web is fun on all three X10 range handsets as they come with a useable Google? search which is social network compatible providing access to YouTube?, Facebook? and Twitter?, complete with RRS feed support. There is a variety of messaging services on board all the handsets which include MMS, SMS, instant messaging and email with Gmail? supports and they come with a user friendly conversation style messaging layout.

The X10 Sony Ericsson Smartphone range is truly amazing and it is the end users choice to select the best equipped Xperia X10 Smartphone to suit their day to day communication and entertainment needs.
