Acer Liquid Mini Offers Pocketable Android Experience

Acer undoubtedly has a great presence in the mid-range and the lower end of the smartphone segment. However, if this segment that they have been lacking in terms of presence, then it will be the high-end smartphone segment. The company seems to have taken notice of this fact and have launched the new Acer Liquid Mini, which is expected to be an affordable yet feature-rich smartphone.

The Acer Liquid Mini is not anything out of the world in terms of design, and it is a good thing because the understated looks of the phone go along with into convincing onlookers that this is an extremely high end smartphone. The 3.6 inch display will also go some way to convincing users that this is the best smartphone that is available at this price range. The touch screen display in the phone is expected to be using TFT display technology and it will also be capacitive.

Hence, all forms of multiple touches can be done on the various applications that are present in the phone. It not only enhances the browsing experience, but also the overall user experience as well. The phone touchscreen display will be showing the latest Acer user interface with all its full glory. The maximum resolution of 480 x 800 pixels does bode well when it comes to displaying this new user interface.

The internal memory of the phone is expected to be quite high, but not as much as the 32 GB memory card support that Acer has equipped the Acer Liquid Mini with. The phone will also be coming with quite a lot of connectivity features to enable this phone to connect with Internet and other devices to fill up the memory. The 3G option in the phone can support download speeds of up to 14.4 MB per second. If you think that this is nothing short of astonishing, then you will have to take a look at the maximum upload speed of 2 Mb per second that this phone can support as well. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options mean that you can connect to the Internet and other devices wirelessly. The wired option that is present in the Acer Liquid Mini is the micro-USB version 2.0.

The phone will be using a five megapixel camera that is one of the best when it comes to taking good quality pictures. It is not only the image department that the Acer Liquid Mini will excel in, but it will be also in the 720 p video recording as well. The operating system that will be used in the Acer Liquid Mini is the Android 2.2 operating system, which is otherwise called as the Froyo operating system. This will be done using the 800 MHz processor and the 512 MB of RAM. While the 800 MHz processor might not be latest when comes to specifications, but it is certainly the case when it comes to running the operating system. The Acer Liquid Mini will be available in the UK by April.
