LG Optimus 3D Is the Most Cutting Edge Smartphone Available

The LG Optimus 3D will certainly be a phone at the top of your wish list if you want to buy a phone with all the latest technologies built-in. This is because the LG 3D is so far ahead of its rivals that none can close to the amount of technology that is present in the new LG phone. This is mainly due to the incorporation of the 3-D technology within the phone. This technology will be making its appearance into the mobile phone industry, specifically the high-end smartphone industry, for the first time. It has not been previously seen before in the likes of the Apple iPhone or in the Samsung Galaxy S. It is this aspect about the Optimus 3D that makes it so unique.

The LG Optimus 3D will also be unique phone from LG given that it will be the first LG phones to be having a 4.3 inch touch screen unit. This unit will be on par with the likes of the HTC Desire HD and the about to be launched, Samsung Galaxy S II. However, the LG 3D will be having the technology that both the above-mentioned phones will be lacking in and it is the 3-D technology. This technology can not suitable for the mobile phones or the portable device in general mainly because of the fact that it will need special glasses to get the 3-D effect. This is not the case in the Optimus 3D, which will not be requiring any such external media to get the 3-D effect.

The LG Optimus 3D will be coming with external memory card support. This becomes one of the priorities for the LG 3D given the fact that the 3-D content will need a lot more space than the full HD movies of today. The external memory card support will be providing extra memory to the internal memory of 8 GB. This might not be sufficient for storing the likes of the films that you want to see the HD mode and it is for this reason that the external memory card support is provided in the LG 3D. The LG Optimus 3D will be coming with the Android operating system, which is one of the most powerful operating system is in the world. The Froyo operating system version is used in the Optimus 3D, but it is capable of being updated to the Gingerbread operating system version. This is because of the powerful processor that is behind the LG Optimus 3D.

It is a dual core unit that is rated at 1 GHz and will be having the QUALCOMM chipset in its heart. It is not to be highly efficient as well as being extremely powerful. This combination has resulted in the operations of the Android 2.3 operating system being extremely smooth. The LG Optimus 3D is expected to be priced around ? 515, which is certainly not a huge price to pay for the amount of technology in the phone.

Samsung Omnia 7 Brings Windows to Samsung Smartphones

The Samsung Omnia 7 is the phone that will be bringing the Samsung mobile phone into the exclusive range of the Windows smartphone department. This has previously been the one segment that Samsung has not had a presence up until now, but with the launch of the Omnia 7, it should be getting the much deserved entry into the exclusive line-up of phones. Even though the Android segment phones might be selling in large numbers, it is the exclusive line-up of phones that will be making the brand look good in the face of people. In that aspect, Samsung seems to have succeeded with the Samsung Omnia 7.

The Samsung Omnia 7 will be coming with the touch screen display. Ironically, it is a display that measures 4 inches in size, which is the same size as the display that is found in the Samsung Galaxy S. In fact, everything about the display in the Samsung is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S, but that is necessarily not a bad thing to do the fact that the AMOLED technology that is used in the Samsung Galaxy S is one of the best. The Samsung Omnia 7 will be coming with an internal memory that is rated at 8 GB and also 16 GB. Apart from the Apple iPhone, it seems to be the only phone that will be offering two different types of internal memory. This amount of option within the internal memory seems to be justified in the case of the Samsung because it will be having a number of entertainment features.

The Samsung Omnia 7 is going to be coming with the options like the five megapixel camera, which might be same in terms of the megapixel count when compared with the other Windows smartphones, but it to be having excellent quality that cannot be compared with the other phones in this segment. This is because of the employment of the camera that is exactly taken from the Samsung Galaxy S, which is widely recognised to be having one of the best cameras in the segment. The Omnia 7 will be coming with the 720 p HD video recording option within the camera. This video recording option will be carried out at 25 frames per second, but apart from that it will not be coming with any other feature in the video recording segment. It will, however, be having a number of features in the image section. They will be including the likes of the LED flash, image stabilisation, autofocus and many others.

It is going to be using a 1 GHz scorpion processor that is highly addictive at running the Windows Phone 7 operating system. This is the first time that this operating system will be unveiled to the public and the Samsung Omnia 7 will be one of the first phones to be having this. The Samsung Omnia 7 can be bought for around ? 25 per month under various contract options in the UK.

Samsung Galaxy S Is One of the Finest Smartphones Available

The plethora of high-end smart phones that are currently exists in the industry today has been made even more consistent with the launch of the Samsung S. However, following the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S, it is expected that much of the competition between the phones will be coming to an end. This is because the Galaxy S will be getting all the attention and praise. The new Samsung phone is so feature rich that it can literally blow away its competition. It does not take long to realise that and it is clearly evident from the styling of the phone itself.

It is very different from the other Samsung phones that have existed over the years. Hence, it is not bland or not good-looking. The Samsung is one of the best looking phones currently in the market. It is something that has been enhanced by the fact that it will be coming with a 4 inch display. This display is quite brilliant at handling the rich colour options that will be provided by the Android operating system that is present in the phone. The usage of the 2.2 operating system version in the Galaxy S might not be justified given the huge amount of features that are present in the phone. Hence, the Samsung is one of the phones that are going to get the update to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It is going to be available for the current Samsung Galaxy S users from March 20th, while it should be available for new buyers from the start itself.

The Android operating system will be displayed using the TouchWiz user interface 3.0, which is one of the last remaining user interfaces to be not interfering with the operating system too much. The HTC Incredible S - The Most User Friendly Handset To Date

The New Incredible S handset from HTC may win many fans for its great screen or gorgeous looks, but when it comes to actually using the phone, the excellent Sense user interface that has been developed by HTC makes it a very logical yet enjoyable experience thanks to features that enhance yet simplify the whole experience.

Many aspects of the Sense UI are well known. Friendstream for example is already a huge success with consumers thanks to its excellent collaboration of social networking feeds, placing everything in one place to save the users accessing various applications. Other features however are less well documented, yet are just as important to the phones operation. Take the Leap View for example. With Android 2.3 offering 7 homescreens for an array of widgets, features and shortcuts, it is not too difficult to scroll through these screen to find the one you desire. What does make more "sense" however is a single screen offering a simple overview of all available homescreens, leaving you the simple task of selecting the one you require. This is what the Leap View brings to the phone, along with other similar facilities. Smartphones have incorporated proximity sensors for some time now. These are present to enable the screen to lock during a call, thus preventing the touch sensitive buttons being accidentally pressed. HTC have found another use for this sensor with the flip to silence function. If you are having a meal, or in a meeting and your phone rings, simply turning it over so the screen is facing downwards will silence the call. A simple yet potentially useful feature.

Thanks to great connectivity features found on modern phones, including the HTC Incredible S, the average handset is now used for a variety of task not normally associated with a mobile phone. One such task is navigation, with phones being used as the very latest satellite navigation systems. Senses works well in this area. Not only does it give you a map which can pinpoint your exact location, but this map also incorporates a compass so you also know which direction you need to travel. If you are using the maps to navigate whilst in the car, there is a nice feature that enables you to skip ahead of your actual location to see what turns are coming up in the future, rather than seeing just what your next manouvere will be. This could be especially useful whilst waiting at a red light for example.

It is easy to look at the glossy features a phone has to offer, but it is simple yet excellent systems such as the Sense UI that make models such as the Incredible S a real joy to use.

X10 Mini - My Web Surfing Experience

The X10 Mini may have the mistaken impression of simply being a smaller version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. That is true but only to a certain extent. Before it becomes branded as a miniature clone, it does have a personality all to its own. What is holding a X10 Mini like? Think of 8 credit cards bunched together and that's virtually what it's like to be holding this smart phone.

Similar to the larger X10, the X10 Mini also relies on only three actual physical buttons, while the rest is done virtually on the 2.55-inch touch screen. This smart phone will appear cute but its features are serious as any big-name phone goes. Since this phone is powered by Android, it carries on its home page various widgets available within the scroll of the finger. These widgets welcome multi-tasking and as many as 20 can simultaneously run while the device is powered on. There are also shortcuts located on each corner for easier accessibility.

One of the more intriguing facets o the X10 Mini is the "Infinite Button", a feature that works hand in hand with the Timescape software. This is integration, a hodgepodge of the different social networks found on the World Wide Web. Think of slapping Facebook and Twitter together; sync it with the system, and presto! A running timeline of updates is all within one flick of the finger. The big question mark though hangs like a dark cloud above, as users will have to navigate around and type what must be said using the traditional means of sending SMS without the handy QWERTY option that would have made life much simpler.

This shortcoming is compensated with the browsing speed that this member of the Xperia family can offer. It loads even the trickiest of web pages quickly. More importantly, it will not stop the user from rotating the screen from portrait to landscape and vice-versa depending on the convenience. Speed will never be compromised when the screen is rotated, something that older phones cannot brag about.

The camera is also something to rave about. Despite the slight drop from 8.1-megapixels to only five-megapixels from its predecessor, the option to turn the flash on and off is a welcome addition, as is the choice of monitoring the settings as one goes along, pushes this phone over the top, especially when it comes to putting the camera on macro mode.

There is no multi-touch feature, but this product gets by with its relatively strong battery life and powerful connectivity. The phone can last as long as two days on full, hardcore use while also serving as an external drive for the desktop and laptop via sync.

All in all, the X10 Mini serves its purpose well and thrives on speed. It goes from one page to another with minimal pausing, much less stalling. In miniaturizing, Sony Ericsson made it big once more in the smart phone rat race. Hop along, Google, this will be a sweet ride.

HTC Salsa Ushers in the New Wave of Facebook Phones

Along with the HTC Chacha and the INQ Cloud Touch and Cloud Q, the HTC Salsa is one of the first phones of what looks to be a new market craze: Facebook phones. Facebook support has been available on most smartphones for some time now, with varying degrees of support and integration, but now phone manufacturers are seeing a real market for phones designed specifically with Facebook use in mind. Such is the extent of the popularity of the social network, and the extent to which people interact with it from their phones.

What marks the HTC Salsa out in this respect, and also applies to its sibling the HTC Chacha, is the inclusion of a dedicated Facebook button on the phone's body. This has a number of applications and can be used in a variety of ways, the most basic is simply by loading the Facebook app once it is pressed. Another example in which it can be used is that it can be pressed shortly after taking a picture on the phones camera, and you will be provided with the ability to quickly and easily upload the image to your Facebook profile.

The 5 megapixel camera comes with an LED flash as well as features such as geo-tagging and face detection. With microSD cards you can have over 32GB of storage space to hold pictures and videos captured on the camera and a secondary VGA camera is available for video calling.

With a phone that places so much emphasis on Facebook you would expect it to have other great messaging options on offer, and the HTC Salsa most certainly does. Threaded SMS is available, as well as MMS, email and instant messaging services like Google Talk. As well as this there is great integration for Facebook and other social networks like Twitter. The HTC Salsa stands out as one of the few phones coming with excellent support for Facebook Chat.

The HTC Salsa runs on Google Android 2.4 Gingerbread and comes with HTC's famous Sense UI. An accelerometer is included which allows you to auto rotate the interface of the 3.4" capacitive touchscreen. There are a great many connectivity options on offer with the HTC Salsa including HSDPA 3G and Wi-Fi. These all make it fit for purpose as a Facebook dedicated phone as well as an excellent messaging phone in general.

While the INQ Facebook handsets arguably offer more Facebook integration the HTC Salsa will no doubt generate a lot of interest from Facebook fanatics. Its ability to allow you to easily connect to Facebook and more easily share photos and videos on the service will make it a highly desirable phone for those who spend a lot of time tagging photos. As well as its Facebook and messaging features the HTC Salsa comes with a great range of entertainment options on offer with excellent music and video support available. The HTC Salsa also comes with YouTube support out of the box and also comes with excellent Picasa integration as well.

Learn More About the iPhone 5 Release

Once you research on the internet, you will find several rumors and information about iPhone 5 and it is for this reason that it has gained popularity as one of the most talked about Smartphone in the market. While this is the case, what exactly should consumers expect from the iPhone 5 release? Is it going to measure up to the hype ad expectations created in the market? What features are going to make it distinct from the other models before it and especially, the 4G model?

The Launch Date
Considering the history of the predecessors which are released in the early June or late July, the question is, is there going to be a change or not. Note that since the first release in 2007, the release dates have been scheduled to fall on this time span. It is precisely for this reason that it was rumored to hit the market with the commencement of the January 2011. While this is the case, there are other sources that indicate the preset tradition is going to continue and this is yet to be seen. This is because the reception problems which were common with the 4th generation model are supposed to get addressed.

Build/Looks
When it comes to the build/looks, it might not vary so much from its predecessor, the 4th generation which came in the form of squares compared to previous models which were rounded. While this is the case, there is no doubt that there will be several changes and transitioning and especially in terms if hardware changes. In this case, these are expected to be noted in the processor and display panel. Among the things that might be changed is what was popularly termed as the death grip in the 4G model. This was single out as the major setback that affected several users but it did little to decrease the sale of the model. To reverse this, it is highly likely that the antenna will be moved from the gripping part and instead, be placed horizontally either at the bottom or the top.

What to Expect in the New Model?
While awaiting the iPhone release, there are several things which are expected to change with this model. All these are geared towards making it user friendly and appealing to users and they include the following.

? Advanced technology: With the new model, it is expected that there will be several technological changes which will also be noted with the near field communication also known as NFC. This means that it will also be turned into a payment system which will be coupled with voice recognition. There is no doubt that this has been added as a means of competing with the Google Android voice search.
? Complete new design: The design is expected to be completely new. As mentioned earlier, this will be done to compensate for the antenna issues associated with the 4th generation model. From a general stand point of view, it is expected that there will be a complete rethinking in the design standpoint.
? Variety of carriers: While the iPhone 5 release is yet to be officially announced, it is ideal to note that there is no doubt that it will come with a variety of carriers. Ideally, this will come in handy in giving users the opportunity to select a preferred carrier.
? Colors: It is expected that this will come in two major colors, black and while and this is expected to be another plus associated with the model.

What is New?
With the variety of speculations flooding the market, users are becoming more confused and especially in terms of the features to expect. While this is the case and considering what has already been explored above, there is no doubt that the changes expected are going to make the model more appealing than the 4th generation one. In essence, it is expected to be sleek and have state of the applications which lack in the 3G and 4G models. It is supposed to have better downloading capabilities, powerful graphics, and better resolution when it comes to display of images and videos as well as reliable chat applications. It is precisely for this reason that the new features expected include the following.

? Face recognition.
? Battery life that is extended
? Scratch proof capabilities as well as some shock proof ones.
? An OLED screen
? Ability to carry out wireless sync.
? An inbuilt GPS

There is no doubt that every feature and aspect has been taken into consideration. This is seen as a means of ensuring that users do not feel baffled with the changes and that they have a rewarding experience. Still, the team behind the model is still working on it to ensure that upon the iPhone 5 release, users get all a final product that meets the hype that has been generated in the market so far. In order to be well informed about the dates,

iPhone 5 Release - What to Expect?

The news that the iPhone 5 release will be sooner than expected is a source of joy for many lovers of this Apple device. Despite the fact that Apple has not provided the exact release date, many people are expecting it to be in the summer, between July and August. Many people are looking forward to see the new device in order find out what kind of features it comes with as well as the price they will get it at. It is rumored that the phone will come with improved features. Some of the improved features the buyers should expect on the new device include the following:

Multi core Processor that is faster
It has been stated that Apple will come up with an improved processor, a successor to the iPad and the iPhone 4. This will be an A5 processor that is comes with the Cortex 9 design and with multiple cores. This means that the buyers will be presented to a better battery life as well as increased performance.

Upgraded Integrated graphics
Besides the new and improved processor, the new phone will feature an updated and upgraded IGPU (integrated graphics and video processor). This was expected as Apple keeps emphasizing on quality media, especially the apps and the videos and this will definitely boost the media capabilities of the device providing the users enhanced experience with the phone. They will enjoy better graphics for videos, games and also HDMI-out to TV. The IGPU Is also useful when it comes to the OpenCL Technology since the technology can use it to carry out other functions when idle.

The NFC Technology
The other reason why many people are waiting for the iPhone 5 release is the presence of NFC Technology. In February Apple Patent revealed an e-wallet icon on the home screen of the device and this strengthens the speculation that the new device will feature it. This NFC technology transforms the device into a wallet: the users need only to wave it over a terminal and they will be able to pay for services and goods and thereby reduce the need for checks and cards. The speculation is that the designers at Apple are working on expanding iTunes in order to allow users manage their credit and debit accounts.

No more deathgrip
Apple suffered from the scandal caused by the antennagate during the release of the previous iteration. The deathgrip was coined to indicate that when the users held the phone in a certain manner, the signal will drastically reduce. It Is thereby not a surprise to learn that Apple have designed the new phone with a new antenna so that they can get rid of the problem. The new antenna Is to be placed behind the Apple logo at the back of the device.

Refreshed Specs
Aside from the processors, the specs of the new device will feature refreshed specs, just like with other iteration. This will result into more memory and storage as well as increase in the screen size to 3.7" instead of the 3.5". It is also stated that the Infineon chipsets featured in the previous iteration will be replaced with the Qualcomm chipsets. Apart from that Apple will maintain their suppliers of the components for the new devices.

The design
The iPhone 5 release is expected to unveil a new design on the device. There are reports that it will come in white, giving the clients a new feel. The other speculation is that Apple will get rid of the glass back and replace it with a metal one, which will work as the new antenna.

LTE Support
Many analysts think that the new device will come with the support for LTE, a broadband that is super fast in the United States. However, some reliable sources have claimed that Apple is not working towards the LTE compatibility, instead it is said to include a GSM/CDMA c hip with 3G technology for the new device.

Cheaper phone
A number of sources have consistently reported that Apple has made a number of deals to result into a cheaper phone. This is highly unlikely because the new hardware featured on this device will not come cheaply; besides, Apple has already set up a price for the device. Additionally, most carriers have subsidized the prices of these devices and they would not necessarily reduce the prices further even when it comes at a lower price.

AT &T and Verizon
With Verizon getting access to the iPhone 4, many are speculating that they will also access the current iteration. AT&T has a long exclusive deal with Apple and it's most likely that they will negotiate for the new one. Many people believe that the Apple iPhone 5 release will be simultaneous for both Verizon and AT&T but for Verizon, they will not pre-announce it because it will dwindle the sales that many users are excited for.

Although the official iPhone 5 release date is has not yet been officially announced, many people speculate that it will be in the July or August, just like the other releases of the other iterations. Just use the provided link to know more about iPhone 5 release and also about the latest iPhone 5 cases.

The Acer Liquid Mini is not anything out of the world in terms of design, and it is a good thing because the understated looks of the phone go along with into convincing onlookers that this is an extremely high end smartphone. The Full Range of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 joins the battle for the best smart phone in the market and also happens to be the first to utilize the Android Operating System. As it incorporates the latest technology developed, the phone was released during the Mobile World Congress 2010. With all the hype surrounding its introduction, it carried with it the specifications as the phone for the next generation.

Easily the most noticeable feature on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is its four-inch touch screen that carries vivid graphics that come to life to the touch, earning its chops against other major players such as the iPhone and the HTC Thunderbolt. As earlier mentioned, the X10 review also boasts of its Android capabilities; that means that there are various X10 Android third party apps that are tailored specifically for the use on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The current estimate for the number of apps available on Android ranges around the 200,000 mark.

The phone carries a memory up to 1GB although it may be adjusted depending on personal preferences. Sensuous black and luster white are the two colors this phone comes in. The pinch to zoom feature is a particularly popular one in this phone, as it was released in November 2010. It started working on Android 1.6 (Donut), currently runs on Android 2.1 (?clair), and the Xperia X10 review from many users is that the firmware of this phone will be held back as long as it doesn't upgrade to version 2.2 sooner than later. The phone will not elevate to Froyo although as recently as January 2011, dual-touch features were put into place.

One thing that doesn't get enough props for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is its integration of the 1GHz Snapdragon processor. For those who are not so familiar with this platform, the Snapdragon actually allows the user to be able to facilitated high-speed, ubiquitous, and convenient usage without draining too much of battery life. It is an efficient answer for users who can't help but tinker around with their phones 24/7. This addition pushes the Xperia to the forefront and becomes part of the discussion when selecting the most practical smart phone out there today.

The phone has also expanded from the routine features that are found in smart phones, including the maximization of GPS tracking all the way to promotions and other campaign leverages done for television shows and other hot item celebrities. Taking photographs with this phone is also an easy task because of its face and smile detection that makes sure each shot is used to the best of its abilities.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, together with its X10 mini counterpart, is taking on the smart phone competition by storm, and it does not look to let up anytime soon. The mini version can be differentiated with its slide out keyboard that provides a different look aesthetically, but offers virtually the same thing. Take a sneak peek and own what the next generation has to offer.

The Competition Is Heating Up With the Advent of Windows Mobile 7!

Microsoft's newest offering, the Windows Phone 7 OS is trying to ensure that the software giant can yet try to recover lost ground from the competition which has been on for the past four years. The software giant's platform, Windows Mobile 6, was uncared for, as soon as Apple launched the immensely successful iPhone and Google launched the Android OS. As a touchscreen OS, WM6 couldn't withstand competition as it was handicapped by an unwieldy keyboard, awkward UI and the biggest lacking was that of a central hub for app downloads. The new offering is a clean break from previous Windows Mobile operating systems, which included WinMo 6.5, and offers.NET developers to capitalize on the mobile application explosion of today.

Windows Phone 7 is still not an iPhone/Android competitor but as reports are pouring in, it might still put up a worthy fight with the biggies. Its features are commendable enough as the touch screen keyboard does work well and the applications which support mails, music and video are fantastic and immensely good as that of the competition. The analysts say that the user interface of the new OS is also sleek and stylish while not compromising on clarity and simplicity. There's a slight hitch, a minor one. The OS does not offer the helpful text copy and paste functionality and no multi-tasking features offered to apps provided by third party vendors, nor is there functionality to connect the phone to a laptop or the Internet. These functions are scheduled to be added soon.

Windows Mobile 7 apps offer an alternative choice to the existing OS market and stand out from the crowd. The best part about WP7 is that it has two powerful tools: Zune and Xbox Live integration. There are third party applications like Twitter and Seesmic too.

Windows Mobile 7 application development involves use of the .NET framework. This framework is the creation of Microsoft for apps creation. Programs are written in different languages supported by the framework, especially C#. The apps are run inside of a runtime environment called the CLR or Common Language Runtime.

There are two approaches one can take for Windows Phone 7 apps development. The first approach involves use of Silverlight while alternatively, one can also use the XNA framework as one deems suitable. Silverlight was originally planned to be used by developers to create RIAs or rich internet applications. Silverlight is well received nowadays and has seen increased market adoption in recent years, mostly driven by the fact that Netflix uses Silverlight to stream videos while channel NBC recently used Silverlight for broadcasting Olympic games.

XNA is actually Microsoft's own game development framework and has been in use in recent years in the creation of Windows and Xbox 360 applications. The XNA is most suitable for games development.

Sony Xperia X8 - Small Price, Quality Phone

Those looking for a new phone model, full of features and applications easily accessible with one hand, to be available at a very reasonable price, I recommend the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8.

I bought this phone in Germany a month ago with only 800 lei after it reached number one on top, ahead of other models from the same manufacturer (Xperia Xperia X10 and X10 mini), but also from Nokia, Samsung and LG. At the beginning I knew exactly what I search for my future phone, namely the recording function calls, touchscreen with slide, browsing the Internet for computer access to many free applications like the iPhone, a size suitable for small and my hands tight pocket of jeans, at least 2MP camera, a battery which takes at least 4 days and an affordable price that will not depaseacsa 1200 lei.

After we contacted the four mobile phone manufacturers - LG, Samsung, Nokia and Sony Ericsson - I am convinced that customer service in Romania are pathetic, so I started reading reviews and comparisons on GSM Arena only models with motz specifications.

If Nokia had button call recording, I found out that Symbian was disbanded, and if I gave more than a phone with rich features and more powerful than my LG Viewty, I had access to who knows what applications. About Samsung models I read negative reviews and so on... until I stopped at the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8. How could not find a button or phone call recording app, then at least to give less money on a phone that does not have this function, but to test the call recording applications for Android, though said to be unstable.

Good. Let me tell you why I like the Xperia X8 and what disadvantages you have if you bought it. I'll start with manufacturer's specifications:

Data availability on the market: September 2010Size and weight: 99 x 54 x 15 mm to 104 gramsOS: Android 1.6 upgradeable to version 2.1Processor: 600MHz Qualcomm3-inch capacitive touch display with 16 million colors, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensorMemory expandable to 128MB, up to 16GB with microSD (2GB card included in box)Battery 1200 mAh Li-Pol and USB recharge which3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2MbpsWi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DPchamber 3.15MP with geo-tagging and shooting video at 30 fpsHTML BrowserFM stereo radio with RDSGPS with A-GPSJava

Disadvantages:
2 days battery you whatever you do. Built-in camera has no settings. You can take pictures or shoot with the default settings and that.

What I love about Sony Ericsson Xperia X8:
The phone has a size suitable for use with one hand and kept in small pockets. It has a simple design that does not emphasize it, so it's unlikely to be enough of it quickly.

It has an easy to navigate menu and you can download many free Android applications directly to the phone, without consuming much of your contract limit imposed by the telecommunications company. You can customize your phone with themes and wallpapers for download on Android Market.

You can use the phone for a lot of things, including music, pictures, movies, Internet, email, documents, games, applications, etc.

The price is more reasonable for each phone supports this function.

Which One Is The Best - The Blackberry Or The iPhone?

Debates create challenging conversations. When you go mano a mano you could win, you could lose or you could just agree to disagree. In the arena of mobile phones there is a singular debate that continues to rage on and is one which may could never be settled - and that is is the iPhone superior to the Blackberry? Each of these phones has its devout followers, but if you are sitting on the fence what would need to know to make you jump down and choose one or the other?

At its most basic it boils down to what you want out of a phone. Is it mainly for business or simply for pleasure? The Blackberry was designed specifically for the business world and is -at time of writing- the UK's best selling Smartphone. It's extremely reliable, easy to use and has plenty of office applications, making it an useful extension of your desk at work. But if you're after tons of cool features and more apps to choose from than you could possibly ever use, then the iPhone is best. The iPhone is a prestige phone and is basically a complete entertainment centre in the palm of your hand. Apart from the standard making calls, picture and video messaging, additionally you can also download music, stream video, order a takeaway, make a restaurant reservation, get directions, find out about the weather, enjoy games, even read barcodes and scan goods for your next supermarket shop - the list is almost endless! Truly there is an app for everything, and if there isn't then the chances are it's already being worked on!

Making the most of technology, the touchscreen and motion sensing capabilities of the iPhone is particularly notable. This makes it an ideal gadget for gaming and for simple consumer interaction and of course satisfaction. The advanced technology of the iPhone puts it far ahead of its challengers in the market. However some of the newer Android phones in the smartphone market are nipping ever so much faster at their heels!

The iPhone does have more storage space, a quicker CPU and more RAM than a Blackberry, but it is also noticeably more fragile. Drop it once and you can easily shatter that gorgeous sensitive screen. However there are numerous protective covers that can help stop such expensive mishaps! But the Blackberry is extremely well made, it's strong and can withstand being thrown across the floor (not too literally though) or being jumbled about at the bottom of your handbag or shoved in your pocket! If security is an overriding factor, then the Blackberry wins hands down as it is believed to be the most secure smartphone currently available on the business market. Sadly, the iPhone still needs more work in that department!

So which is best, the Blackberry or iPhone? Well, it is a matter of personal choice as to what you want your phone to do. Both phones have features which they do better than the other. If you want a slick and super stylish mobile that does everything at the touch of a touch sensitive screen button, then pick up an iPhone. But if you want to get straight to business, then the Blackberry will be your best buy!

This new device is thinner compared to its predecessor and it comes with a shinny glass at the back. It measures about 9.3mm in thickness. Its body design is also sleeker compared to the older version.

SMS Tones
People use tones to different their devices when they get a call or text message and it is also a great way of being unique. With this device, you will be able to create some custom SMS tones for your phone. This means that you can have your favorite song as an SMS tone. It is also possible to get different tones for each person who is saved on your phone. Apart from the custom tones that you get for your SMS the device also has a messaging indicator light.

Custom E-mail Alerts
Another unique feature that users will get to enjoy after the iPhone 5 release is the presence of custom E-mail alerts. This means that it is possible to have different tone for every email address that you use. This allows you to recognize the person sending the email before you even check your phone.

OLED Screen
The cellphone comes with an OLED screen that is both shatter and scratch proof. This means that you will be able to maintain its original look for a long time.

Entertainment Features
The entertainment features are also impressive on this gadget and if you are an iTunes fan, you will enjoy the amazing ability this device offers. It allows wireless synchronization with iTunes. Its audio is Hi Definition and this means you get better sound quality with this device.

The memory offered on this device is amazing and it has 32G basic and 64G memory. This means that you can store a lot of information in it without worrying about running out of memory. Its battery life is also impressive and users will be able to get about 14 hours of talk time when using the 3G network and about 7 hours with the 4G network. Its battery offers about 600 hours of standby.

This feature is also able to calculate different types of information including trip distance, bearing, speed, time and distance remaining for you to reach your destination. It is accurate and uses one of the best technologies.

Voice Commands
The use of voice commands in mobile devices has also become popular and this was introduced by the Android handsets. This is another amazing feature that users should expect from the device. The device allows you to call different people using by simply speaking into your phone.

Mobile Phone - An Inevitable Invention

With many new inventions coming up every day, one of the most inevitable inventions has been the mobile phones. They have become a part of our lifestyle and it's practically impossible to even think of a day without mobiles.

But, when it comes to buying one, there are a few factors to be considered or rather compared. The technological advancements are directly related to the cost of the product. Hence, finding an economical phone that exactly suits your needs is the wise thing to do. Upon browsing the internet, one can get plenty of information on various cheap mobile phone deals. But before hitting the web, it's good to decide on the connectivity type that would suit you.

Basically, there are two major types available that form some of the best mobile phone deals. Found below, is a little insight on each type.

Pay as you Go:

This is a type of mobile phone deals UK wherein you get a pre-fixed credit limit depending upon the plan. This, in other words can be called as the 'Prepaid mobile' type. Each network operator has their own set of plans or deals. All you need to do is to choose the right deal for you. This type can be suitable for people who are calculative, because it provides better control over the usage. It can be appropriate for college students and working professionals. Also, you can easily avoid roaming charges as your cell phone is not restricted to a certain service network provider as that in contract phone deals.

Contract Type:

The second category is the 'contract type'. In other words, it can be called as the 'Post-paid mobiles'. The contract comes with a hand set (cell phone) of your choice along with the deal that you choose. The whole package of such cell phone deals also includes a lot of free stuff. Various deals are available with varying time periods.

E.g., 3months, 6 months, 1 year, etc.

There are also special offer packages that provide extensively cheap mobile phone deals relating to certain aspects. The contract type of mobile deals is more suitable to businessmen and marketing professionals who extensively use cell phones.

Practically, there are both advantages and disadvantages over the two types.

But generally, the following points could be given a thought before striking a deal.

* Maximum credit Limit

* Call charges (same network)

* Number of free SMS and its related charges

* Call charges to other network mobiles

* ISD and roaming charges

* Number of free calls provided

Scaling Up - The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Review

The X10 review has been constantly flip-flopped both ways as the product continues to be a work in progress even after its release in 2010. Because of the numerous firmware updates that come along, such as the upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1, it is difficult to determine the ceiling of this product. Of course, one thing that is for sure is that this smart phone changes the dynamics of how consumers will look at their phones from this moment onward.

Generally, the X10 review has been generally positive as it saved a slumping Sony Ericsson brand that received a lot of flak for a subpar performance back in 2009. The first thing one will notice as the phone is being held is how 90% of the phone is dedicated to the screen itself. The LED that brightens up significantly when the phone is actually in use further supports this feature. The ergonomics of this phone is also top-notch as it is curved specifically to contour to the human body when it is kept in the pockets. These are small things that are overlooked but they all add up eventually.

On top of the Android Operating System, Sony Ericsson added a little neat trick up their sleeve called the User eXperience (UX) that is utilized in the form of two distinct applications: Timescape and Mediascape. The X10 review reports that Timescape covers facets such as Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites into a free-flowing wall on the main page. Sony Ericsson calls these updates as "Splines." Filters can be arranged if the Splines becomes too out of control at this point. Remember, battery life drains faster in this mode, so be aware of it at all times.

On the other hand, Mediascape captures photographs, music files, video clips, and other media-related material onto the interface. These two work hand in hand and are not separate from each other. In addition to being able to save specific contacts as priority callers, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 can recognize as many as five contacts ready for storage for future reference. This is pretty nifty when it can be such a hassle to sift through contacts.

A task manager is lacking and the phone could definitely use one for a more streamlined package deal. Another questionable feature is the unlock button, which takes the form of an arc rather than a simple swipe the way it is done on the iPhone. One thing that the X10 review would like to note is that the contacts on the phone book cannot be synced with their Facebook and Twitter counterparts, a welcome addition as the ball gets rolling further on down the road.

On the flip side, it is actually easy to sync Yahoo! Mail and other POP mail on the Xperia X10. Also, thanks to the Snapdragon platform, surfing the Internet becomes an experience in itself. Infinite text format makes browsing very convenient as it adjusts depending on the pinch to zoom ratio accordingly. Now if only there were Flash video support.

An X10 review is not complete without the quotation. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 price ranges somewhere around $800-$900 depending on location and shipping costs.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc - Android Mobile Phone With Decent Design

When talking about latest mobile phones how can we leave Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc out of discussion? This new gadget from Sony is simply mind blowing. It's sleek design, bold look and lots of features can fascinate even the most discerning mobile phone user. At just 117 gm, the phone is lightest & slimmest among all the phones available in its range. Look at size 125 x 63 x 8.7 mm. The phone is not asking for attention its rather distracting your eyes from other phones. May be this is the reason why Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 (Arc) is displayed in showrooms and not in shops.

One may wonder to know what latest Sony Ericsson phones can do for them. Most of the people don't want to go further than just making calls, listening to music and taking pictures with their phones. But the Xperia users know no boundary. Their phone is a multipurpose device which can do many things from singing songs to taking pictures at a time. It is for this reason people don't look at any other phone once they use Xperia Arc.

Sony Ericsson certainly took a lot of weight on its shoulders for designing such a beautiful phone. A masterpiece is born after much research and Sony left no stone unturned in making the Xperia a success. The phone embraces everything you have dreamt of. It will be no exaggeration to say that Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc X12 is a dream phone that is designed to do magic.

We have already discussed the design and look of the phone now let's start talking the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc features. The LED-backlit LCD screen is tall 4.2 inches. The scratch resistance surface allows the users to carry the Xperia in pockets along with pen and coins. It is powered by Sony BRAVIA engine. The X12 considers no restrictions hence unlimited entries and fields. Add to that unlimited numbers of call records. The phone has something for everyone. Whether you are careless user or a corporate personality, Xperia is built for all.

Since Xperia Arc is the product of Sony Ericsson, it has to be the best camera phone. The 8 MP camera with autofocus in a mobile phone is really rocket science. Sometimes it is hard to believe that a phone can have such a powerful camera. But Xperia doesn't stop here. It provides touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection facilities. The video made with Xperia competes with the best in the market.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 comes in midnight blue and misty silver. Both of the colors go well with almost all the fashion attire. This fashion phone also contains a digital compass and HDMI port. It offers document viewer and provides easy access to social networking sites. The powerful battery lasts up to 400 hours and you can stay connected up to 7 hours which is a fairly good amount of time you even can't spend on your laptop. The HTC Wildfire Offers Surprising Functionality For Its Affordable Price Tag

The HTC Wildfire is a welcome addition to the manufacturer's range of Android smartphones. It is much more affordable than many of its rivals with similar specs, no doubt contributing to its considerable popularity.

The handset looks great. It is surprisingly compact and lightweight, and sure to suit all tastes with several colour options. Even though it is not unibody as the HTC Desire HD or Nexus One, it feels similarly sturdy and durable. You have a nice volume control on the left side together with a micro-USB port.

The phone is powered by Android 2.1 with the highly customisable HTC Sense UI with all its bells and whistles, from Leap to FriendStream, from built in Flash [Lite] to a redesigned keyboard. Live wallpapers are sadly disabled, but seeing Wildfire as the entry-level tool (for lack of a better description) it is, this is hardly a surprise.

What you lose here, you gain there: it easily lasts a full day on the battery's side. Usage of 3G, listening to music tracks, internet browsing and social networking, camera usage and of course phonecalls are all in a days work for the HTC Wildfire, but it handles these tasks efficiently. It supports a range of audio file formats, has stereo Bluetooth audio with built in FM capabilities, giving you a decent audio experience. The music player is intuitive and solid, and performs as expected. The gallery app is on hand to display pictures, and again handles the task with ease.

HTC provides one of the best keyboard applications for Android - say the community and one can't but agree with them. In this case, HTC realised that the CPU of the phone won't be as strong as in top-notch flagship models and did a small revision on the keyboard. They put the hide keyboard key away, this way giving more space for the spacebar, giving you a more comfortable messaging experience.

The camera is decent, operating at 5 megapixels, meaning the resulting still images are of superb quality. For indoor and outdoor images, the camera is good enough, operating with no problems. Naturally, the camera also boasts the ability to shoot video footage, and comes with the geo-tagging function, operating courtesy of GPS.

All in all, the HTC Wildfire will handle most tasks you can throw at it. Whilst it is not at the top of the smartphone scale, it's affordability with surprising functionality puts smartphone technology within the reach of the masses. It is available in a number of colour variants, meaning that aesthetics are not sacrificed to make it affordable.

HTC Salsa Is the Ideal Phone For All Facebook Fanatics

The new statistic has been revealed that almost a million users are joining Facebook everyday and this really confirms that Facebook is one of the largest and most popular social networking site in the world. Hence, HTC has decided to take advantage of this by launching a phone that will be exclusively catering to the needs of the social networking addicts. Most importantly, it will be serving the purpose of linking with your Facebook profile very easily. This seems to be the principle behind the launch of the HTC Salsa, which is a phone that has been recently unveiled by HTC.

It will be having a full touch screen display and the looks of the HTC Wildfire. So, it might seem to be a lot more mid-range smartphone at first, but the features that it has exclusively in order to satisfy the social networking addicts seems to be extraordinary. It will be starting with the touch screen display that will be having a small button underneath it. It is going to be the button that will allow you to access the Facebook applications immediately. This is a feature that is yet to appear in other smartphones of today and it seems that HTC have stolen a march in this regard. The HTC Salsa will be having a display that will be measuring 3.4 inches in size, which is very much not like the mid-range smartphone of today. It is a screen that will be coming closer to the likes of the Nokia N8, which is the perfect example of a high-end smartphone. The presence of this feature in the phone will be allowing this phone to be having the best operating system possible right now.

It will be, hence, having the Android 2.4 operating system in its heart. It could also be partly down to the 600 MHz processor that is used in the phone. It has to be said that the Android 2.4 Gingerbread operating system is something that is yet to be released. The Android operating system is currently available only in the 2.3 version. So, you might be wondering the reasons for this phone to be having an unreleased operating system. The reason for this has to be the launch date of the phone. The HTC Salsa is not expected to be launched before the June of this year. It is expected that the Android 2.4 version will be released before that. The main reasons for the quick replacement of the current operating system version have to be the number of issues that the Android 2.3 version is believed to be having.

The HTC Salsa will be coming with a five megapixel camera that is very much high in terms of quality. The features like the LED flash and face detection seems to be the reasons for this and it is one camera that will be appreciated by a lot of people. Due to the presence of connectivity options of varied types, you will be able to upload any image on to Facebook extremely quickly.

Now, the Vivaz is ready to pass on the mantle to two of the newest additions of the Xperia family. These are the Neo and Arc.

The display capabilities of the two handsets go well beyond their physical appearances. Upon first glance at the 3.7 inch display of the Neo and the 4.2 inch display of the Arc, you might not think much of them. In fact, you may think that they have nothing new to offer. Looks can be deceiving. These displays are more unique than you might think.

These displays come with Sony's innovative Bravia Engine technology. If you are not familiar with this technology, it is the same used on high-definition LCD televisions, projectors, and the PlayStation3, which the company is known for. Now, they have applied the same cutting edge technology on their mobile phones.

Bravia is short for Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture. This simply means that you will enjoy your multimedia in a display that offers the highest standard in HD technology. From video streaming to video recording, you are sure to experience video-realism like never before.

Why You Should Have the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the way to go when looking for the smart phone that brings together that sleek look, cutting-edge features, advanced software, and durability that is built to last for years to come. Because of the X10 Android Operating System that comes with this product, it is difficult not to create comparisons with the Google Nexus One, as that runs on the Android 2.1 as well.

An X10 review always starts with a quick look on its 480 x 854 pixel touch screen, seeing that it does away almost entirely with a physical keypad in favor of a virtual one. All the functions and commands that need to be set take place on the touch screen, and the three buttons found at the bottom only serve the following purposes. First, the return to the Home page, similar to the way the iPhone works. Second, there is a back page, typical for most Sony Ericsson phones. Third, there is a Menu/Settings button for easy editing of phone configurations.

The casing of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 comes in plastic, which might not be the most practical material that would justify the advancements in technology that comes with it, so in this case, do not judge the phone by its cover. Surprisingly, it still comes off very modern and everything seems to be in the right place. The camera lens is fitted at the rear upper center while the USB port and power button can be found on the topside of the phone. They keyboard comes in QWERTY format and it will take a couple of days to adjust to if one is used to the alphanumeric arrangements on older models.

The built-in camera of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is not as reliable as one would hope it would be in spite of its 8.1 megapixel capacity. Neither is its video capture because it tends to come off a bit grainy. Had there been a 720p option, this problem would be a different matter altogether. Having another camera on the other side as well would help, as would a stronger bass on the built-in speakers.

Multi-tasking is one of the best things one can do with a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, as it does not lag or compromise performance. When browsing the Internet through Wi-Fi or 3G from slight to moderate use, expect the phone to carry on for as long as two days without any alerts of having low battery. It also happens to have Bluetooth 2.1 that allows it to tether to other devices once the option is given to do so. As the firmware continues to update itself, improvements are also being made. Wi-Fi disruptions are no longer frequent and self-rebooting have become a thing of the past.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 pushes the limits of a smart phone even further. What will they think of next? The integration of the Android into this gadget changes the complexion and makes this a whole new ball game in the world of smart phones.
